100th Annual meeting of the Louisiana Academy of Sciences

Join us this March 2026 for the historic 100th annual meeting of the largest and longest-lived organization of science professionals in Louisiana. The Louisiana Academy of Sciences will convene where it all began one century ago–at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana. In addition to our annual meeting of podium, poster, and keynote presentations, we will host a special science humanities symposium and dedication of a historical marker.
Mar. 5th—Historical Marker Dedication

Mar. 7th—Annual meeting of podium, poster, and keynote presentations
Students and faculty may submit abstracts under our major disciplinary divisions:
BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, including molecular, biomedical, environmental, micro-, botany, and zoology
PHYSICAL SCIENCES, including chemistry, computer science, cybersecurity, earth science. mathematics, and physics
SOCIAL SCIENCES
SCIENCES & HUMANITIES
SCIENCE EDUCATION, including K-12 and higher education
AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY, & WILDLIFE
